The Drone Visits Cottage

Today Chris Grainger, one of our amazing parents brought in a drone presentation to show the children. They found out there are many different types of drones, including life saver drones, fire fighting drones, micro drones and even parcel delivery drones. They children found out that the propellers give the drone lift so that it can fly. The children asked some amazing questions; Can the drone fly without propellers? Can you fly with one propeller? Can drones go underwater? How do drones work? The children then helped create an obstacle course with their waffle blocks for the drone to fly through.
